“Alexander the Great” I thought that this book was quite good because it had nice descriptions.I liked the illustrations because they are very detailed. I didn't like the part where Alexander did something bad to one of his knights. Over all,I thought this was a good book. Tala Davidson. Alexander the Great of Macedon ( BCE): Learn all about this famous and powerful Greek conqueror, whose empire stretched as far as India and northern Africa. Part of our Biography Workbooks series for high school students, this item is eleven pages .

Good study of Alexander the Great The soundly researched book avoids the potential to sensationalized this bigger than life figure. The author stays with a measured enlightened approach relying on the evidence as it is available. The story is beyond amazing enough with credible information. The initial Chapter seems to be rushed. By deeds, it is incredibly hard to compare Alexander the Great with any of the great generals in the history of humanity. Indeed, Alexander the Great’s conquests have had a strong influence on all the subsequent generations, and his generalship became a classic for people dedicated to the military affairs.

Alexander the Great: The Death of a God by Paul Doherty pp, Constable, £ Alexander the Great: The Hunt for a New Past by Paul Cartledge pp, Macmillan, £Author: Rory Stewart.   It’s Alexander fever time, with two new movies and a slew of books celebrating the renowned conqueror. But this is a minor contribution at best, of much less interest than Paul Cartledge’s Alexander the Great: A New Life (p. ).
